Deckhand
We are looking for a hardworking, team-orientated person wanting to build an exciting career onboard one of our 6 modern Z-drive tugs. Our tugs operate on the Delaware River and you will join a dedicated crew of experienced Masters and Mates. This is the perfect role for anyone looking to start their career with hands-on job training and numerous opportunities for advancement through paid education and mariner licensing programs. Your time onboard provides the perfect atmosphere to develop varying skills including but not limited to; maintaining marine equipment, valuable boat safety practices, problem solving skills and all while working on the water and enjoying the flexibility that our equal time schedule affords.
Mates
Ready to make the next step in your maritime career? Ready to come inland after sailing offshore? We are looking for hardworking, team-orientated people wanting to advance their career as second in command operating one of our 6 modern Z-drive tugs. Our tugs operate on the Delaware River and Bay and you will join a dedicated crew of experienced Masters and Deckhands. This role is ideal for people with strong attention to detail and place an emphasis on safety as this will be your primary responsibility along with supporting the Master onboard. Family oriented? Our equal-time weekly crew change schedule ensures you will be home for those special occasions. Position requires a minimum of a USCG license of Mate of Towing or 500/1600 ton or unlimited license with a completed TOAR. We have in-house Designated Examiners to help you work on your TOAR if needed.
Mechanic
We are currently looking for Shoreside Mechanics to join our team. We have openings for a wide range of specialties to help maintain the complex systems that facilitate the constant operation of our fleet; 6 Z-drive tugboats and small passenger vessel. Shoreside mechanics operate on a M-F, 7am-3pm work week with one on call weekend a month, in our shop located in Wilmington, DE. This role comes with professional development opportunities, including cross training and tool allowance. Prior marine experience is not required but recommended.
Marine Electrician
As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment on our fleet of 6 Z-drive tugboats and small passenger vessel. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all electrical systems are operating efficiently and safely, complying with maritime regulations and industry standards. This position would operate on a M-F, 7am-3pm work week with one on call weekend a month, in our shop located in Wilmington, DE.
